ABOUT ME

 

     In February 1997 joined Renata Bueno (architect and artist) to found Gaiola Estúdio (1997-2012), an art and creative agency with a team of 10 employees as well as freelancers. Thereafter they developed campaigns for training and internal marketing in multinational companies such as Accor, Alcon Brasil, Altana Pharma, Avon, Cianamid, Coopers, Gillette, Multibrás, Nestlé, PEPSICO, Schering Plough, KLM, among others, involving recreational materials such as folders, comic books, board games, digital games and animations of which include: 2 films that were part of the selective sample of the Minute Festival (1997-98), institutional films (1998 to 2012): Avon- “Um dia de Entrega” (5:30 minutes), Cyanamid- “Beabá daBoa Vida” (7:00 minutes), Itaú Bank- 4 vignettes “untitled” (1:00 minutes each), Nestlé- “The Building” (3:00 minutes), “Em Busca da Entrega Perfeita” (10:30 minutes), “O Biscoito” (5:00 minutes).

     In 2008, Direction of the animation part (3 minutes) of short film “Isabel e o Cachorro Flautista”, from Christian Saghaard.

     In 2009 directed the short film in animated paper cutouts: “Osires & Oasis” (12:00 minutes), script being selected for sponsorship award of the city of São Paulo Culture Secretary, also performing the soundtrack of this movie.

     In 2013 made an entry (1 minute) in Luiz Adelmo feature-length documentary: “Naquela Época e Hoje”, animation made also in paper cutouts.

 

 

 

     In education had already developed a series of workshops:

     In 2000, animation workshop for the SESC Vila Mariana lasting one week, repeated experience in 2002 two more times.

     In 2007 another workshop: Thaumatrope were created with the production experience of the students themselves, at SESC Santo André.

     2011 held an Traditional Animation workshop with a month-long at the Museum of Image and Sound, MIS, São Paulo.

     2012 it held an Animation with Photos workshop (pixilation, time- lapse and photo cutouts) at MIS and participates in the Pontos MIS program conducting animation workshops of 4 hours by the cities of São Paulo state, traveling through 25 cities in 5 months and producing about 100 short student’s films in pixilation and time lapse.

     In 2012 was technical adviser of an animation project from Manon Bovenkerk, Dutch artist contemplated for artistic residency at MIS in São Paulo.

      Since then, has been developing its own projects in the fields of illustration, animation, soundtrack and writing.

      In 2015 publishes the children's book “Quem Ri por Último Rima Melhor” with Renata Bueno illustrations.

      Currently living in a town close to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
